林師父好熱情，想教我哋兩位手無縛雞之力嘅少女，練「鳳眼拳」。

Cheung Chau Island was saved from a disease after traditional ritual - Da Jiu (打醮) was performed a 100 years ago. It is ironic that they have to cancel these practices because of another disease.
Da Jiu (打醮) was held every year to ask for peace and health from Taoist Deities. And this becomes one of the most exciting and colourful festival in Hong Kong - Cheung Chau Bun festival, which attracts thousands of tourists and locals.
The community in Cheung Chau has already announced the cancellation of the main activities in Bun festival - Bun Scrambling Competition (搶包山), parade involving children (Piu Sik 飄色) that will gather people. But they insisted to continue traditional rituals like welcoming and sending the Gods, which requires 8 people, 4 at the front and 4 at the back, each separated by 1.5m, to carry each Statue of deity.
Police has opposed, even after rounds of negotiation as it may violate the social distancing rule. The community announced the cancellation of this traditional practice at 9:30am today. This morning, 50 policemen, including Commissioner of police, inspected the situation as a group in Cheung Chau.

Noodle is must during your visit in Hong Kong.
We had stirred noodle with Pork Knuckle and fishball in slices 豬手魚片撈麵 at Wong Lam Kee Chiu Chow Fishball Noodles. When you order a stirred noodle in Hong Kong, a small bowl of soup is always offered to you. The pork knuckle and the slices of fishball taste good but the noodle is a bit too alkaline.
If you are going to order soup noodles in Hong Kong, go for #Wonton noodles #雲吞麵or rice noodles with #fishball #魚旦河. If you want a stirred noodle, go for either #porkknuckle 豬手撈or #BeefBrisket 牛腩撈. Can’t make up your Mind? Why not a combo?
Don’t forget to get some Hong Kong drinks when you are at local restaurants. The typical ones are iced lemon tea 凍檸茶 and hot milk tea 熱奶茶.
By the way, I am so impressed by the take-a-number ticket (see last photo) and the drawing on the wall, which shows Shau Kei Wan (the neighbourhood where the restaurant is located).
