What do you do when you 've come across a very negative person? Negative mindset and yet supremely stubborn. Always doubting your opinions, your skills, and shifting the fault to you when things turn out wrong ? Accusing you of shedding responsibilities, doubting your skills as a singer, accusing you of using your beloved dad as an excuse and many, many other accusations. 💩 this person says starts getting to you, affecting your mental health and physical health. I cried, I felt very stressed out every time I had to communicate with said person （I had no escape because this is work.） I lost sleep, I got white hair, I got acne breakouts, but the worst of it all, was that I started doubting myself.
And then one day after all the emotional turmoil in these past few months, after praying and letting myself let go emotionally, draining out all the negativity, I realised I was not worthless as this person was constantly trying to paint me out to be. I remembered what my dear friend and brother in Christ once told me : Always know your self worth.
People will always try to bring you down, blaming you for the mess they made, dragging you down for not performing as well despite telling them several times the songs never suited you in the first place, blaming people around you, making up all types of excuses, accusing you of many unspeakable things, threatening you even. You 'll feel so trapped and alone. And it 's easy to fall into depression. BUT KNOW YOUR SELF WORTH. WHAT YOU ARE IN THE EYES OF GOD IS ENOUGH. MORE THAN ENOUGH. God values us. And that 's all that matters.
