So sad that someone gave my book a 1 star review and did not leave any words nor their name so I have no way to ask them for feedback or make it right with them. Has anyone read "Sandcastles Don't Last Forever" and not left a review on Amazon yet? Please help to reinstate the book's 5 star rating if you can!
What about Good Works?
“But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; that being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:4-7 WEB)
Being under Grace does not mean shunning entirely from doing anything. Some are so afraid of the word “works” that they think it’s wrong to do anything. Let us examine the correct place for good works.
The passage above written by the apostle Paul is very clear—we are saved and justified by God’s Grace, not by works of righteousness that we have done.
Through faith in Jesus Christ, we were regenerated (reborn) by the Holy Spirit, and have become God’s heirs.
After establishing these truths, we are ready to read the next verse:
“This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men; but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.” (Titus 3:8-9 WEB)
After being saved, the fruit of our faith in God is good works unto men.
God saved us, enabling us to represent Him on earth to be blessings to mankind. Through us, He wants to do what is good and profitable for men.
Do you want to see more miracles and God manifesting Himself in a greater way to you?
When you make yourself available and ready to do good works unto men, you will see God’s power, wisdom and supply richly poured out in your life.
Aligning yourself with God’s will is like running to stand under a waterfall. You don’t have to beg for a trickle of water. The supply is constant and relentless, to accomplish His all purposes.
The bigger the need, the more generous the divine supply. God needs no qualifications from you—just a willing heart.
Do you think you’re weak and useless? Great! His power shall be demonstrated perfectly in your weaknesses. You and others around you will see that it is clearly God at work in and through you.
Therefore, don’t be afraid of hearing the words “good works”. Now you understand that we don’t do good works in order to be justified by God, but we do them because we are already justified by Him!
There is another dimension about good works that is rarely taught, which is that good works done for Christ will be rewarded with eternal rewards in due time.
Rewards and blessings are two totally different things. Rewards are measured out based on our good works, whereas blessings are paid for by the precious blood that Jesus shed at the cross.
The first book I ever wrote is called “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”, and it is about God’s eternal rewards. Some believers are afraid of the judgment seat of Christ, but the truth is that it is a time to receive rewards and there is no way you can receive any punishment there.
There are ways you can increase your rewards and there are also ways you can lose out on them. These are important revelations because it concerns your eternal quality of life and from the signs of our times, it seems that our Jesus return is drawing ever closer!

🤓📑Reviewing notes and textbooks
Do you go through old textbooks even though you're past the level? Sometimes it's a good idea to skim through old work and check to see if there's something you've forgotten or need refreshing in. This weekend I was reviewing a Japanese N3 Grammar textbook (even though I passed N3 two years ago). I feel like it's a little safety blanket before moving on to the N2 grammar textbook, just to make sure I'm covering all bases. ✌️
How about vocabulary review? After a lesson, I write all the new vocabulary on one page and leave it for a while. A few days later, I go back and write as many meanings as I can remember in one color pen (blue) in a column next to the words. If I don't remember, I leave it blank until I am done with the list. Then I take another color pen (pink) and fill in the meanings of the words I forgot. This way I am still engaging with my notes and getting some review in without redoing any past work. 🥳

In this video I am teaching you how to make a pop-in text reveal with the new Adobe Premiere Pro text tool. Its a simple effective effect which is quite easy to do. My prefered method is to type the text you want to animate first and also place it and design it in the way you want to to be shown. After that we will animate it by selecting the text source, but also to move the time line to the last text you want to reveal and toggle on by clicking the toggle animation button, it will automatically add a keyframe and this will be the ending keyframe that reveals all the text. Now we go to a words before the last one on the timeline and remove the last word and it will automatically also add a keyframe on the effects control timeline. We repeat this process and you can see each word being removed, once all have been done, when you play the animation you can see that the text is being revealed. This personally is my prefered method of doing a pop-in text as it be easier to have the text placed correctly and in the correct size, as if you would type each word you might not have enough space or have the correct font size and altering it all afterwards often lead to more issues.
