Woohoo, we finally ventured out further today because it's the school holidays after all!
We dined out, went to a shopping mall, visited the arcade as it didn't seem crowded, played ZooMoov rides, travelled to and fro and spent a good half a day outside. Surprisingly, the mall was quite desserted so it turned out that the most crowded place we were in today was the MRT where it was rather impossible to keep a social distance from fellow commuters.
Well, since it's just not economical to keep taking taxis - and we don't want to stay home 24/7 during the school holiday - this might be the new norm we have to get used to for now. That said, I think we will just be staying home or in our neighbourhood for the next couple of days, haha.
What we did was try to find a corner, usually near the ends of the carriage, so that we can keep together and stay a distance away from others as much as possible. Try best to avoid contact, remember to wear a mask at all times, and don't board the train during peak hours, yeah?
That said, never forget to be gracious and give up your seat to someone in need. The pandemic might take away many things we hold dear but it should never diminish the kindness in our hearts. Have a good week ahead, people!
