When my producers asked me what I’d like to sing about for my third single and the first thing that came to my mind was “self-love” 💗 With everything that is going on, in my personal journey and in today’s society, most of us are just so clouded by others’ judgments that we let them dictate our lives. #MAHAL talks about how it’s okay to “pentingkan diri sendiri” and to “pertahankan harga diri(ku)” 💗 Every word, metaphor, hook reflects a story and has a meaning behind it. One of the verses that hits close to home is “biar lambat tempo, belum tamat tempoh” — a reminder of how we should focus on our own progress no matter how slow it is & at the end of the day, we should be grateful that we are still alive! 🙌🏼
