Actually I was very excited for NDP this year cos it will be the first year I am celebrating as an official Singaporean Citizen! But alas! Covid! 🥺 However, I am still thankful that National Day parade is not cancelled but postponed to 21st August to be held in a safer conditions while still maintaining the same spirit we have every year when celebrating the birthday of Singapore! ❤

Looking forward to catching the very special NDP parade this year from home with my family! Yes it includes resident Ah Lian @ninatsf 🐶🐱

It's the long weekend! Woohoo! Tomorrow, the big girl will be having a dance performance at a carnival, after that we'll be going to catch a show before heading home to watch NDP. Yup, we might have seen the preview but we always, always tune in to the live telecast on the actual day, be awed by the military showcase and amazing performances, stand up to recite our pledge with pride, sing our hearts out to the national day songs, and remind ourselves and our kids just how blessed we are to be Singaporeans.
