There are a wide variety of food choices in the streets of Penang that you don't have to worry about getting bored of the food there. During our trip, we tried not only the hawker foods, but also the most unique eats that some people might cringe just from hearing it. One of the most memorable unique eats was the Pig's Brain Porridge. The pig's brain has an extremely creamy and buttery texture that melts in your mouth in a blink of an eye. In addition, the porridge was packed with smoky wok hei flavours from the high heat used to cook the dish. It’s just one of many food then we tried that were unique to us in our short few days there! Most likely to the people in Penang they are just everyday food!

There are many Wan Ton Mee joints/ stalls around but not many are as crowded and packed as Wan Ton Mee House, at Pulau Tikus. Wan Ton Mee House started with a humble beginning- as one of the hawker stalls housed in one of the coffee shops in the vicinity. The business has grown and expanded over the years; today, they run a coffee shop solely offering Wan Ton Mee. The place is well-received by the regular patrons and is often seen especially packed in the mornings. Parking can be a hitch though.
Potentially one of the most expensive Wan Ton Mees in Penang, Wan Ton Mee House's comes with a splash of own-developed Egg-gravy to be mixed and eaten with the noodles.....
