開啟運動的新習慣: 首次參加EMBA5000公尺測試賽

10月26日這天的天氣不冷也不熱，是最適合戶外跑步的舒爽氣溫，大清早不到六點已看見臺大操場的藍色跑道上出現許多人在走走跑跑，心情頓時感覺興奮，也非常佩服每個人怎麼可以這麼有活力！為了鼓勵EMBA學生養成運動習慣，今年EMBA門外社首次開辦5000公尺測試賽，而GMBA的學生也很榮幸受邀一起參加測試。越接近開跑時間，參與測試的選手也陸續抵達，大家先到司令台報到領取物資，並將計時晶片綁在鞋子上、號碼牌別在衣服上，然後調整心情準備迎接活動的開始。
開跑前，主辦單位先請大家一起做做暖身操，說明一些注意事項與勸勉鼓勵選手的話。相較於資深的EMBA學長姐們，GMBA的同學們算是年輕力壯的族群，可是看見學長姐仍舊各個精力充沛的在熱身，也激勵起無論如何都要成功完賽的決心。
暖身結束，大家走到起跑處等待鳴槍起跑的那一刻，耳朵聽見【砰】的一聲，只看到戈壁沙漠賽的選手們已率先衝出，我也趕緊跟著其他跑者動了起來。看到跑道上的每個人都健步如飛的樣子，一路上我不停地告訴自己【我可以】。幾度因腳步沉重改用走的，但只要聽見經過身邊的跑者的加油聲，疲累的雙腳就又重新得到動力，最後靠著陪跑團熱情的陪伴與鼓舞，才讓我堅持到最後，完成我人生中第一個5K。
NTU EMBA Outdoor Club- 5KM Run
It was a cool Saturday morning on 26 October 2019, and a suitable time for us to get ready to go to outdoor for some fresh air and exercise. We are supposed to report for either Team A or B sessions, depending on your usual pace to complete a 5km race. GMBA students all signed up for the Team A session to complete the race within 45 minutes and was filled with admiration for seniors signing up for the Team B session to complete 5km within the timeframe of 30 minutes.
In the spirit to encourage healthy lifestyle, EMBA outdoor club held this 5km test for the first time and GMBA students are very honored to be part of the pioneer batch of participating in this test. Like a usual marathon race, all participants are given a number tag, an electronic chip to track their laps and with professional fifteen minutes warm up session by the organizer.
Start spring off with a *bang! *, all of us are enjoying the run and giving each other morale support regardless if we know him or her beforehand. This is the runners’ spirits which is amazing portrayed during the race. Being a regular runner, I felt the adrenaline rush flowing through my body, wanting to complete the race with always a better result as before. Nothing beats better than conquering yourself.
Something even more remarkable is I witnessed how the NTU students come together as a team to give each other support to finish the race and leaving no man behind.

THE NEW GTA 5 update, Cunning Stunts, is released on Xbox One, PC and PS4 this week and fresh details have been revealed ahead of its big DLC launch.
A huge wealth of new content has been added to the Grand Theft Auto 5 multiplayer mode today, including 16 brand-new Stunt Races that feature everything from winding tubular tracks amongst Los Santos’ tallest skyscrapers to technical courses through canyons, over water and across the desert.
Stunt Races have everything, from ramps, loops, wall rides, tubes, raised tracks and dynamic objects for a new way to enjoy GTA Online racing.
Stunt Races at launch include: Canyon Crossing | City Air | Downtown Loop | Duel | East Coast | Maze Bank Ascent | Nightlife | Over and Under | Plummet | Racing Alley | Rally | Splits | Threading the Needle | Trench I | Turbine | Vinewood Downhill
The new Stunt Race content can be accessed by tracking down the pink Stunt Series blips scattered across Los Santos and Blaine County.
A new Premium Race option has also been added, where fans can compete against seven opponents, placing bets and putting faith in your skills for a chance at prize payouts bigger than any other race.
That means that there is no in-game cash prize for second place, although all competitors are rewarded with Triple RP for completing a Premium Race.
"To keep the competition sharp and balanced among the racing elite, Premium Races are locked to a specific vehicle or vehicle class and all competitors are required to own the vehicle or a vehicle within the set class," the official Rockstar description reads.
Rockstar has also confirmed that these new races are also only available for a limited time, with weekly Newswire schedules being shared from now on.
