Part 2 of 20 Days Tour!
6th Photo - I took a flight and 🛫 to Ironwood, Michigan to take part in my first-ever Redbull 400 race. It was a really tough race and I was so grateful that I gave my best for it, won my heat and qualified into the Final and came back 4th placing overall even after I missed the podium. The bonus was that I got to spend time with new friends that I met there and I would like to thank them for the 2 Days 1 Night stay with them.
7th Photo - From Ironwood, I 🛫 back to Chicago for half day time to pack up my stuff that I left at Tim's place for the Redbull 400m and 🛫 to New York this time for the Empire State Building Run Up. I got 2nd place for it and super happy to finally visit New York for the first time in my life.
8th Photo - I then 🛫 to Los Angeles for a 12 hours transit, arriving early in the morning, walk around LA and I had a really really long walk from the Airport to the Muscle Beach.
9th Photo - At first, I was planning to go back after ESBRU, but while I was in Taipei, my friend from China told me about the races in WuHan and NanChang, and I decided to take part on both races. I 🛫 to NanChang from LA and transit at Shanghai. Dropped my luggage at the hotel provided by the Organizer of the NanChang Races and took a 🚆 to WuHan and stay a night there at an Airbnb place. I won the race in WuHan and took a 🚆 back to NanChang....
10th Photo - I got second place this time at NanChang International Towerrunning GrandPrix and took the 🚆 back to WuHan and stay a night there before the next ✈️ home from WuHan to KL International Airport.
It was a lots of flights and trains on these 20 Days, traveling here and there on last minute planning. I was so satisfied after that and I remembered I told myself that I am not going to do something like this again as this 20 days was really challenging 😅
Looking back now, I missed traveling so much. Hectic schedule of racing back to back to back to back to back were a magnificent trip in my entire life.
I learned a lot from this tour competing here and there. I am so glad to have the supports on doing this to fly 🇲🇾 Flag whenever I compete. Thank you each and everyone of you.

英語で頻度を表す際、「Always」や「Sometimes」、「Never」など、一語で通じる言葉ばかり使っていませんか？もちろんそれでも全然OKなのですが、ネイティブは日常会話の中でそれらの表現以外にも、フレーズを使ってより微妙な頻度の差を表したり強調したりします。よりネイティブのようなナチュラルな会話を身に着けるには、これからご紹介するフレーズを知っておくととても役立ちますよ。

1) Hardly ever
→「滅多に〜しない」
--------------------------------------------------
Hardly everは「めったに〜しない」や「ほとんど〜ない」を意味します。Rarelyより頻度が少なく、ほぼ0%に近い状態を表します。ちなみ、hardlyだけで「めったに〜ない」を表しますが、頻度の少なさをより強調したいときにeverを加えましょう。
✔その他、「Once in a blue moon」も「滅多に〜しない」を表す口語表現。
＜例文＞
I hardly ever eat fast food. The last time I had McDonald's was about 10 years ago.
（ファストフードは滅多に食べないな。最後にマックを食べたのは10年くらい前だと思う。）
I've been so busy with work that I hardly get a chance to take a vacation.
（仕事があまりにも忙しくて休暇を取る時間がほとんどないよ。）
I see Johnny once in a blue moon. I don't even know where he lives now.
（ジョニーとは滅多に会わないな。彼が今どこに住んでるのかも知らないよ。）

2) Every now and then
→「時々」

この表現は時々何かをしたり、何かが起こったりすることを表します。意味と使い方はSometimesと同じですが、より口語的な表現です。一般的に文頭、または文末で使われます。
✔その他、From time to timeも「時々」を表す口語表現。
＜例文＞
Every now and then I call my parents and see how they are doing.
（時々、両親が元気にしているか電話をします。）
I eat ice cream every now and then. I get a sudden crave.
（時々、アイスクリームを食べるよ。突然無性に食べたくなるんだよね。）
I usually eat out for lunch but I pack my own lunch from time to time.
（普段、ランチは外食しますが、時々自分でお弁当も作りますよ。）

3) More often than not
→「普段は/大抵」

この表現を直訳すると、「〜をしばしば（よく）やらないよりはやる」になり、普段していることや大抵起こる出来事を表すフレーズです。意味と使い方はUsuallyと同じですが、より口語的な響きがあります。文頭または文末で使われる傾向があります。
✔Typicallyも同じ意味を持ち、日常会話でよく使われる。
＜例文＞
More often than not, I go running before work.
（私は普段、仕事の前にランニングをします）
More often than not, he shows up about 10 minutes late.
（彼は大抵１０分くらい遅れます）
I typically study English on my commute.
（私は普段、通勤中に英語の勉強をします）

4) Almost always
→「ほぼ必ず」

この表現を直訳すると「ほとんどいつも〜する」になり、「ほぼ必ず」や「ほとんどの場合」を表すインフォーマルでカジュアルな言い方です。Always（いつも）より頻度が若干低いですが、Usually（普段）よりも頻度が高い状況で使われます。
✔その他、Nine times out of tenと言う表現もあり、日本語の十中八九に相当する。
＜例文＞
Buses in Los Angeles are almost always late.
（ロスのバスはほとんどの場合遅れてきます。）
I almost always floss my teeth before I go to bed.
（寝る前はほぼ必ず歯をフロスします。）
Nine times out of ten, my wife is right.
（大抵の場合、妻が正しいです）

Eversince KokoKaina days, I'd always look forward to writing the descriptions of a video. In a way, I felt that it was always a little more peek behind the song, and of me, to you.
It's been awhile since I've written in it, though I feel now is the time to so...
This song was a joint creation with my friend and former guitarist, David Hurwitz (dAvid sTrange) when he showed me some of the poems he'd had, many years ago. He is quite a prolific writer and this one in particular just spoke to me. So we worked on the song and melodies that day, as the words were already written by David.
It was quite an elevated feeling we had, after we were done, as I think we both knew how much this meant to us, and to everyone who will listen to it. Medicine.
It then took a few more years to be able to record it to its full form that you now hear. I recorded this in Los Angeles, where it was produced by one my dear friends and musical partners, Andre DeSantanna. I would like that this chance to thank him and the musicians, Rafa and Daniel for bringing it further to life.
Dear all,
We are now going through such a strange time, where we are all experiencing the same force, where no one is pardoned from it...
But I, just like the rest of you, feel uncertain, but coping and most of all, hopeful, that we can get out of this.
Once we do, we must remember, that even though, this grave situation may leave a large dent on our world and ways of living, we absolutely MUST rise wisely, do things fair and accordingly, and steadily, and not go into the extremes, as we must remind ourselves, that ALL OF US ARE/WERE IN IT TOGETHER!
Lets all do the right thing as citizens, humans, friends, family, and stay home, for the love of yourself, your family and all your loved ones.

This video was a passion project between my friend Curly and I, and a small crew of 5, one camera, Curly and I co-directing, as he creative directed (he wears many hats). We shot this back in January, in Johor, Malaysia, near the beach, where it was very very warm. I insisted on having very minimal makeup, as you can tell, but most of that melted off as well.
I kept true to my vision and wore a turtleneck anyway because i was told, you gotta suffer for the art. ;)
