As a member of the Shangri-La Golden Circle myself, Shangri-la hotels are always my first choice when I travel around the world. I had stayed at many Shangri-La hotels around the world..Paris, Maldives, London, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia ...
It really feel special every time when I check in at their hotels , they will say “Miss Yeo,welcome back” I know that means wonderful food and wonderful service during my stay for sure.

I had my first staycation at the Island Shangri-La HK last weekend at their newly renovated Harbour View Suite, it was truly an amazing experience ! A wonderful family staycation!

Special thanks to the hotel’s Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky, for letting me try their new spring menu from their Michelin Starred Restaurant Petrus ,which is absolutely wonderful and the lunch arrangement from the Lobster Bar and Grill! Special thanks to all their friendly staffs❤️

Island Shangri-Li HK is one of the best Shangri-Li I had been to around the world, if not the BEST!

4款sharing starter 同4款tapas細細碟😗但係試多少少野都唔錯😂sautéed chorizo鹹咗少少，但garlic sizzling shrimp好食🦐 S先生話之後要返屋企煮😛甜品都ok😆

重點係呢到環境同氣氛都非常之唔錯🤩service都好好，有啲好似去咗外國小餐館嘅感覺🤭我應該係太掛住去旅行啦🤣

豆酥煎北海道大元貝
Dried Beans Crumb with Hokkaido Scallop. The crumbs are homemade by the kitchen, so they are slightly more Cantonese than Sichuanese in taste tone, no spiciness too

The 崑崙雪菊 high mountain tea here was amazing, as it should due to Mandarin Oriental's heritage, etc

At recently renovated Michelin 1 🌟【文華廳 Man Wah, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong】which occupies the same space, but expanded a little into the former M Bar area too. The dishes have gotten an upgrade, don't forget that Man Wah is one of the rare Cantonese restaurants in town with 2 high profile chefs 一山藏了二虎. Since sister Excelsior hotel side restaurant closed so it's all amalgamated into here! Personally definitely a watcher for being upgradeable to a Michelin 2 🌟🌟 status soon, the thoughtful upgraded menu works even better than before.

柬埔寨獨立紀念碑 Independent Monument是金邊的一座紀念碑，位處諾羅墩大道和西哈努克大道的交會處，靠近湄公河，佇立BKK (Boeung keng kang)西南區大圓環中。此碑建於1958年，充滿了深厚柬埔寨的文化及歷史，主要紀念1953年11月9日柬埔寨脫離法國殖民，和紀念在戰爭中為國犧牲的烈士，建立完全獨立王國。每年獨立節時，柬國王或國王代表會在此舉行隆重的慶典，各國國家代表也會至此參予盛會。當天晚上的獨立紀念碑，四周的水池噴著水，染上了刻意打上的燈光，看著顏色的變換，以及周遭的車水馬龍，令人不禁思索起這個國家的歷史，這個國家的文化，是從如何的點點滴滴造就出來。設計師名為范‧莫尼旺 Van Moly Vam。1958年動工興建，1962年11月落成。底座寬36公尺、高37公尺，共七層。四周共佇立了100尊的Naga那伽(七頭蛇神)，象徵柬國之文化，神聖與王國的興盛。仿造暹羅吳哥古蹟中的巴孔寺（Bakong）所設計。為柬幣100面額的鈔票圖樣(舊幣)。在印度教中，Naga被視為有靈性的生物，是泉水、井水和河流的保護神。它能夠造雨帶來豐收，但也帶來如洪水和乾旱等災害；佛教傳說裡，Naga為金翅鳥死敵，金翅鳥以Naga為食。吳哥窟、小吳哥窟、連金邊市中心的獨立紀念石碑, 到處都有祂的踪影。
百適河大餐廳是一家金邊市有名的自助餐廳，就在中國大使館附近。在這裏可以嘗遍東南亞、歐洲乃至世界美食，不過這裏主打還是高棉菜。這裏也是旅遊團喜歡光顧的地方，因此用餐時間人會比較多，注意避開高峰時間。餐廳提供500個用餐座位，晚餐200多種菜品，午餐100多種菜品。
