This monday is abit personal and special to me :)
In celebration of Women's Day , I am honoring the most important woman today in my life; my mother.
I feel she is the epitome of everything a resilient woman character should be. As a single mother who had to juggle a house and 2 young children, she has selflessly given her youth and life to do so. Yet finding time to still give back to society and care for my elderly grandfather at the hospice, rain or shine and no matter how tired she is. Always putting others before herself, she has taught me the true meaning of maintaining grace under fire; making the world smile but keeping silent tears to herself. It is her vivaciousness for life and timeless, sophisticated sense of style that inspired me since young, and a magnanimous heart to forgive me no matter how many times I may have disaapointed her. I have always watched you Mom, silently and keeping them in memory so I can carry your teachings to my own children too. I've always been awed and humbled by your incredible inner strength, and could not be anymore prouder to be your daughter. I can only hope that I can carry on your legacy as well as you have when I am a mother too.
