I don’t often post wedding photos these days as I’ve been more selective on taking on weddings. Doctor’s order that I should try not to shoot over a long period of time. Besides, I have been finding joy in the emotions and aesthetics in portraiture :)

But Sheena and Sinbad’s wedding is always a time that I smile looking back on.

Their golden autumn wedding in Karuizawa was very memorable for me - how it was so tasteful, intimate and filled with real and raw emotions - depicted how my perfect wedding was going to be like.
�I am thankful to Sheena for sharing her story with me and the meanings behind certain things in the wedding, for her agreeing to my persuasions to have a father-daughter dance which later became so meaningful to her, and for her trust and friendship in the months and years to come.

Black and white
�I have always had a special love for black and white photos. The way it connects to my heart is different from any colour photos.
�It erases time, and allows the viewer to focus on the soul of the portrait.

Some says color photos are like watching the movie, whilst black and white photos are like reading the book itself.
