So yesterday was my first time meeting Mako San. She’s from Japan. And it was also her first time trying out diving. Yes, that didn’t stop her eventhough she’s already near 60, as cool as my mom 😘 Well, everything went well and I’m glad she managed to enjoy herself underwater.
But what I didn’t expect was...
She’s a cancer survivor herself 🤭 Stomach Cancer, Stage 3. I mean when I was working, I don’t really think much about cancer until she shared it to me. 😍 It has been more than 20 years since her diagnosis, and eventhough she has removed almost 2/3 of her stomach, she has been living her life to the fullest just like most of us do. So inspiring❤️ Oh and you know what, she’s also a mother of a beautiful pair of twins (my age) 😍😍😍
So many things to relate, what a gem! 💯
Decided to share it here so you fighters don’t give up ok. The road might seem dark and uncertain, but I believe God is planning something better for us ❤️ We just have to believe 🙏🏼
