“Cocoa pancakes for breakfast!” and Arielle’s eyes lit up when she saw them. We made them differently (and more healthily) with Quaker’s quick cook oatmeal. We used a little bit of pure vanilla extract in the recipe for the extra flavour and topped it up with some berries. There are just so many delicious ways to prepare breakfast with Quaker Oats and every one is packed with great health benefits, high antioxidants, fibre, iron for a stronger immune system!

8 tablespoons Quaker' Oats Quick Cook, Instant or Rolled
1 tablespoon 100% Cocoa
1/2 cup nut milk (soy, almond, coconut, pili, hazelnut or macadamia)
1 egg, medium 2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 packets of stevia sweetener
Pomace or Light Olive Oil
Maple Syrup or Honey (optional) & Strawberries (optional)

1. Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth
2. In a non-stick pan over medium heat, brush olive oil to coat the pan evenly
3. Lift the pan and pour about 1/2 cup of the batter into the center. Tilt the pan to spread the batter. Cook for about a minute or until it is golden underneath
4. Flip and cook the other side for around 30 seconds. Repeat with the remaining batter
5. Serve with honey, maple syrup or strawberries @ Singapore

These pancakes are slightly thinner and more delicate than regular pancakes. They are high-protein, low-fat pancakes, and taste more on the savoury side (not sweet at all). You could totally eat them with savoury toppings (spinach, mushroom, beef/chicken slices, etc) but I’m a sweet topping kinda gal - I ate mine with sliced strawberries, cashew nut butter and a drizzle (ok more than a drizzle) of maple syrup 😋 #breakfast #pancakes #flatlay #izafoodography

📌เคล็ดลับ
- ใช้ไฟอ่อนๆ ถึงปลานกลาง นะคะ

1. oatmeal (Quick cooking oats) 1 cup
2. Bland milk, low fat 100 ml.
3. 1 chicken eggs
4. 1 tsp fluffy powder
5. Rice Bran Oil King - Oryzanol 6,000 ppm
6. honey
7. Almonds or grains as you like.
8. fresh fruits as you like.
Tips.
- Use soft light to the central area.
- Quick cooking oatmeal
- If you don't have a blender, you can do it. When you mix it, soak it for about 10-15 minutes. Let oatmeal blister then bring it to the pan.
- Pancake will taste clean for you to eat with fresh fruit and honey. You should choose good grade honey. Good smell. It will be very delicious.
Eat like a slim person. Good shape. Healthy. You need to control the diet continuously. Eat 3 meals in the right amount. You can exercise regularly and get enough rest.

オートミールで作るパンケーキとワッフル
4人分
材料:
オートミール 150g
牛乳 240ml
卵 大1個
バニラエクストラクト 小さじ1
ベーキングパウダー 小さじ1/2
塩 ひとつまみ
メープルシロップ (トッピング用)
お好みのフルーツ (トッピング用)
粉砂糖 (トッピング用)
作り方:
1. オートミールが粉状になるまでフードプロセッサーにかける。
2. 生地を作る。ボウルに牛乳、卵、バニラエクストラクト、(1)の粉状オートミール、ベーキングパウダー、塩ひとつまみを入れ、なめらかになるまでてよく混ぜる。
3. ワッフルを作る。予熱したワッフルメーカーに油を塗り、生地を約240ml流し込む。蓋を閉じて火が通るまで4分程焼く。
4. パンケーキを作る。テフロン加工のフライパンを中火にかけ、生地を約120ml流し込む。端が固まってきたらひっくり返し、裏面を2分程焼く。
5. お好みでフルーツ、メープルシロップ、粉砂糖をトッピングしたら、完成!

Oatmeal Pancake And Waffle Mix
for 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups gluten-free oats(150 g)
1 cup milk(240 mL)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking powder
salt, to taste
maple syrup
assorted fruit
powdered sugar
Preparation:
1. Place the oats in the bowl of a food processor or blender and pulse until finely ground. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla, ground oats, baking powder, and a pinch of salt and whisk until well incorporated and smooth.
3. For waffles, pour 1 heaping cup of batter into a greased waffle iron set to high heat. Close the waffle press and cook until set, about 4 minutes. Carefully remove from waffle iron.
4. For pancakes, pour ½ cup of batter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Fry until the sides begin to set, then flip the pancake and fry the other side for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
5. Top the pancakes or waffles with maple syrup and fruit as desired.
6. Enjoy!

This February 17 is Pancake Day. I LOVE pancakes!! Instead of making traditional pancakes, which can be fatty and loaded with sugar, here are 3 healthy pancake variations, which are very nutritious and good for your body.
1) Hearty Oatmeal Pancakes
2) 2-Ingredient Pancakes
3) Sweet Potato Pancakes
p/s If you do not have a blender, you can still make the 2-Ingredient Pancake recipe. In a bowl, mash your banana with a fork. Then in another bowl whisk the eggs. Mix both eggs and banana together. Viola, that’s your pancake batter!
Here’s a fun fact, Pancake Day is the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the final day before the commence of Lent. For the Christians, Lent is a time of abstinence. So Pancake Day is in fact the last chance to indulge and use up foods that aren’t allowed in Lent, this include fat, butter and eggs, which is why pancakes are eaten because they contain all those ingredients. Some called this day, Fat Tuesday!
