上篇#草根食在旺角 講咗The Pantry 嘅抺茶疏乎厘班戟，今次講埋3款鹹食同飲品。

漢堡包非常鬆軟🍔，雖然配料好常見，但漢堡扒鬆軟又富有肉汁，配上芝士🧀同楓糖煙肉🥓，再加上新鮮嘅蕃茄同生菜，真係好好食😋。

📍慢煮手撕豬肉，酸椰菜，香草蕃茄汁芝士千層麵（$125）
Pull Pork Lasagna Roll (Slow Cooked Pull Pork, Pickled Cabbage, with Tomato sauce & Mozzarella Cheese)
呢款千層麵同食開嘅好唔同，一大片意粉皮中間捲住紫椰菜同手撕豬肉🐷，上面再加上大量白醬、蕃茄汁🍅同芝士🧀，份量好足，又可以拉絲，賣相的確好好🤤。好可惜手撕豬肉食落偏乾，味道比較寡，所以整體有冇想像中咁好食👉🏻👈🏻，始終都係夾返肉醬嘅口感同味道比較夾🙈。

🍟薯條新鮮炸出，中間配有大量牛油果醬、乳酪新鮮蕃茄粒，好食而且價錢唔算貴，真係好抵食👍🏻。

📍朱古力香蕉花生醬奶昔（$68）
PB Choco Banana
奶昔非常好飲😍，入口首先飲到香蕉嘅香甜🍌，然後湧出朱古力味🍫，最後再食到花生粒🥜。奶昔質感厚滑，唔會過膩，口感同味道都非常出色， 絕對不能錯過🤟🏻😆。

These gourmet street food burgers with homemade Wagyu beef patty are soooo good!!

Cooked to perfection, the burgers were still tasty even after couple hours of delivery and photo shooting. Aiming to give customers the steak alike experience, chef told me his patty was made from 100% Australian Wagyu beef with no other fillers.

Their house sauce and cameralized onions added a depth of flavours to the burger, making it quite addictive to have bite after bite. I will surely visit them again to indulge my Wagyu beef burger fresh from the grill 😋😋😋

McDonald's Japan started seasonal items for Tsukimi series today(9/8). Tsukimi is moon viewing festival traditionally for wishing good harvest in autumn. Rich Cheese Melt Tsukimi burger is beef patty, cheese, sunny-side-up and bacon, tomato cream sauce and the buns has cheese flavor. Shaka Shaka Potato Yuzu Seven Spice Mayo Seasoning. It's spicy seasoning. Tsukimi McShake is Wasanbon sugar and Kinako roasted soybean flour. Tsukimi Pie is azuki red bean paste and mochi pie. It's one of my favorite item in McDonald's pies.

Teriyaki Burger is popular Mcdonald's menu. Teriyaki burger uses Teriyaki BBQ sauce. They launched limited time 3 kinds of teriyaki burgers yesterday. Red Hot Teriyaki is spicy cheese and shichimi pepper mayonnaise teriyaki burger. Black Pepper Teriyaki is bacon and black pepper mayonnaise, Chicken & Egg Teriyaki is fried chicken patty and egg. They also launched limited time flavored McFry, Shaka Shaka Potato Teriyaki McBurger Flavor. McShake Milky is Mcdonalds and Fujiya Milky collaborate item. Milky is very famous confectionery in Japan. I used to eat it in my childhood. Milky Mc Shake is very sweet like condensed milk.

For this episode, we went down to JOMO to complete an UNDEAFATED 2KG Burger Challenge! JOMO is located at Holland Village and is restaurant + bar concept featuring Western-style cuisine and bar bites. The décor is sleek and minimalistic, appealing to the modern consumer. On top of their standard burger menu, they have an UNDEFEATED burger challenge with a 15-minute time limit. Completing it makes your meal free. Specifically for my challenge, the staff promised to have a company-wide volunteer outing should I complete it in under 10 minutes.

The challenge comes with a 5-patty beef burger. The patties are dry-aged Angus beef from Sidecar. Together with the patties, the burger is loaded with a cheese sauce, onion rings, sliced cheese, bacon and an egg, nestled between 2 toasted buns. Besides the burger, the challenge has chicken-salted fries, purple coleslaw and a Bourbon Vanilla milkshake, with a total weight of around 2KG.

You could taste the dry-aging noticeably in the patties, which had a deep meaty flavour but were a bit on the dry side. Eaten as a package with the cheese, egg and onion rings, the burger really came together as a flavour smorgasbord. The fries had an interesting addition, chicken salt, and you could taste the strong chicken flavour if you licked the salt off the fries. However, eaten en masse and with chilli sauce or ketchup, the mild chicken flavour was drowned out by the stronger ones. The coleslaw was decent, not too sweet and still crunchy but nothing exceptional. The milkshake was very strong alcohol-wise, but pleasant enough to wash down the burger with.

I completed this UNDEFEATED 2KG Burger Challenge in right under 9 minutes, committing the staff at JOMO to partake in a volunteer activity together. The challenge is not overwhelmingly huge or technical, so 15 minutes is a reasonable timing for a large eater. JOMO serves a variety of affordable Western food including other kinds of burgers, steaks and their signature Fish & Chips. Do head down to JOMO to eat your way to a free meal!
