So we got to Bali on Friday evening, ready to experience the #HariNyepi the next day. If you're wondering what it is, Hari Nyepi is Hindu celebration mainly celebrated in Bali, Indonesia. It is a day of silence, fasting and meditation for the Balinese. For us tourists, we are to respect the celebration by staying in our hotels/villas and not make any loud noise or play loud music

What I didn't know was that even the wifi and internet will be turned off for a whole 24 hours 😱Obviously I only found that out when we landed in Bali. However, it proved to be a good detox for all of us, kids included. So we enjoyed a day in the sun, at the pool and kept each other company without looking at the phone at all (except for taking pictures)
