Here’s my little snippet from last night’s National Day Parade. For my non-Singaporean friends, it’s basically a big birthday bash our country throws itself every year with a lot of fireworks, dancing and memes. This year was different; way less performers, a postponement and LOTS of nose swabs and Covid testing. But just like our tiny country, we pivoted, and out of this concrete jungle burst a dandelion of art from a team that I love and respect so much. Thanks for letting me be a small part of this. With travel temporarily halted, we decided to explore the hidden gems within Singapore. Join us as we explore the local nature attractions nestled within the Southern Ridges, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle that is metropolitan Singapore.
Our hike begins at the break of dawn at Henderson Waves, an award-winning architectural work of art designed by RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd and IJP Corporation Ltd, UK. The tallest pedestrian bridge in Singapore, Henderson Waves stands 36 meters above Henderson Road and spans a length of 274 meters. Next, we venture to the peak of Mount Faber Park and look out to stunning views of Singapore's heartlands. Then, we explore the myriad of pink bougainvillea flowers at Terrace Garden, a popular spot in Telok Blangah Hill Park. Finally, we end the day at Forest Walk and its incredible secondary forest.
May our videos be a form of escapism and source of zen for you, and encourage you to appreciate the little, simple things in life. Even in these turbulent times, there is still much beauty in this world if we keep our hearts and minds open.

在如斯面目的世代，希望能繼續用心面對世界。
The Universe is the creation of the mind.
Universe exists inside the mind as the flower exists inside the seed.
And the eyes are useless when the mind is blind.
在這個不想有太多框架的獨立音樂企劃裡，Kendy決定今次把一首英文歌也分享一下。這次特意找來Jeffero Chan陳彥廷一起編曲，加了他擅長的弦樂部份把歌曲昇華。
同時亦要感謝Adrian Chan的mixing功架讓歌曲更上一層樓。
這次製作更找來從前在英國讀音樂的墨西哥好友，現在同樣是當地的singersongwriter 的Zofi, 及另外一位在巴黎的獨立音樂朋友Thomas 來一起擔當backing chorus，他們聽完歌曲也很有共鳴，覺得他們自己身處的地方也在處於變幻當中，倍覺要用心感受世界多一點。
而Kendy希望2021年可以帶來更多廣東作品，延續更多故事。

The iconic landscape artifact unique to Hong Kong is a spectacular attraction in the Central and Western district. A row of 15- to 20-meter tall Ficus microcarpa, commonly known as Chinese Banyan, have taken roots and thrived on the vertical surface of historical masonry stone walls.
