送來的是個長方形黑色小盒，其貌不揚，比一顆2A電池高一點、也大一點。

不是我收件的，替我簽收的說，速遞員哥哥送來時忽然高聲說：「二萬幾蚊㗎！」好緊張的。盒中是甚麼？

傳奇，總少不得戲劇性峰迴路轉的身世.....

//「黑波摩」，1964年11月5日完成蒸餾，威士忌中的傳奇。以陳年過Oloroso雪利酒的橡木桶陳釀，一生也活在酒廠最古老的一號酒庫........上網一查，已升值至六、七萬英鎊一瓶，僅少少20ml，已滴滴千金，價值不菲。

這酒，本來該是已不存在的........

我收到的一小瓶黑波摩，是用來和Sotheby’s Wine進行一次難得的virtual tasting，為了它們4月18日的慈善拍賣。//

出於好奇，我立即拿家中的Bowmore 25年來比對，年紀少一半的，登時像個兒童！但超過50歲的長輩，又沒有年輕人那襲爽冽的海風。

《假如我們的語言是威士忌》中，Laphroaig的經理跟村上春樹說，「不必多寫說明」，酒跟價格也沒關係。

「很多人以為年份越多的單一麥芽威士忌會越好喝。其實不然。有些東西可以靠歲月獲得，有些東西卻會隨着歲月而消失。有隨evaporation（蒸發）增加的東西，也有隨着減少的東西。只不過是個性不同而已。」像一口雋永的威士忌受用。

「是住在這裏，在這裏生活的我們……人的個性和生活方式創造出這香味來的。這是最重要的事情。所以，請您回到日本後這樣寫。」

我永遠無法明白，不珍惜自己島上人民的地方。
