ถึงแม้ว่ายูนิคอร์นจะวัดกันที่ Market Cap. ของบริษัท ซึ่งวัดจากมูลค่าหุ้นทั้งหมดของบริษัทต้องมีมากกว่า 30,000 ล้านบาท ซึ่งยังไม่แน่ว่า Bitkub จะมีมูลค่าหุ้นของบริษัททั้งหมดถึงระดับนี้หรือไม่

แต่สำหรับเหรียญของ Bitkub จะมีมูลค่าขนาดยูนิคอร์นตั้งแต่เริ่มเปิดให้มีการซื้อขายเหรียญในวันพรุ่งนี้ และนี่ก็อาจเป็นเหตุผลเบื้องหลังที่ Bitkub ตั้งใจกำหนดจำนวนเหรียญทั้งหมดไว้ที่ 1,000 ล้านเหรียญ และราคาเหรียญละ 30 บาท

ปกติแล้วการระดมทุนโดยวิธีการออกเหรียญ จะเรียกว่า ICO หรือ Initial Coin Offering จะเป็นการระดมทุนจากสาธารณะ โดยเสนอขายเป็นเหรียญ ซึ่งในสมัยก่อนจะมีหลายเจ้าในประเทศไทยที่ทำการ ICO ไปแล้ว เช่น JFin Coin, SiX

แต่ต่อมามี ก.ล.ต. เข้ามากำกับดูแลในเรื่องนี้ และประกาศเกณฑ์ออกมาว่าใครจะ ICO ต้องไปทำผ่าน ICO Portal
และนับตั้งแต่นั้นมาก็ไม่เคยมีใครในประเทศไทยได้ ICO อีกเลย..

มาคราวนี้ Bitkub ก็ไม่ได้เรียกตัวเองว่าเป็น ICO และไม่ได้ทำผ่าน ICO Portal แต่ Bitkub ใช้อีกวิธีที่มีข้อได้เปรียบเรื่องฐานผู้ใช้งานจำนวนมากในมือ ก็คือ

1. กำหนดเหรียญของตัวเองชื่อ KUB ว่ามี 1,000 ล้านเหรียญ

2. นำ 10 ล้านเหรียญมา Airdrop หรือแจกเหรียญให้ทุกคนที่เคยซื้อขายใน Bitkub ซึ่ง Bitkub บอกว่ามีผู้ใช้งาน 1 ล้านคน (แต่คนที่เคยซื้อขายอาจมีน้อยกว่านั้น ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นหลักหลายแสนคน)

3. ทีนี้สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นก็คือ หลายแสนคนในระบบ Bitkub จะได้เหรียญฟรี เป็นจำนวน 13.16 KUB ถึง 130.04 KUB มากน้อยขึ้นอยู่กับยอดซื้อขายสะสม

4. การแจกเหรียญคิดเป็น 1% ของจำนวนเหรียญทั้งหมด โดยจะมีเหรียญอีกไม่เกิน 10% ที่ปล่อยออกมาให้ซื้อในวันแรก และส่วนที่เหลือจะค่อย ๆ ทยอย ปล่อยออกมาเป็นรายไตรมาส และรายปี

5. Bitkub ลิสต์เหรียญ KUB เข้ากระดานซื้อขายเลย (คล้าย Direct Listing ของตลาดหุ้นเมืองนอก) โดยกำหนดราคาขายเหรียญในวันแรกคือ 30 บาท ซึ่งถ้ามีคนสนใจซื้อเหรียญ เงินก็จะเข้าบริษัท Bitkub โดยตรง

ยกตัวอย่างเช่น มีคนสนใจซื้อเหรียญ 10% ของเหรียญทั้งหมด หรือ 100 ล้านเหรียญ ก็จะมีเงินเข้าบริษัท Bitkub ทันที 3,000 ล้านบาท ซึ่งจะเห็นได้ว่าบริษัทได้เงินเข้าบริษัทที่ไม่แพ้การระดมทุนด้วยวิธี IPO หุ้นในตลาดหลักทรัพย์เลย

6. แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน Bitkub ก็จะทำตัวเป็น Market Maker เพื่อเสริมสภาพคล่องด้วย เช่น ถ้ามีใครมาขายเหรียญในอนาคต Bitkub ก็จะเป็นคนรับซื้อและต้องจ่ายเงินให้กับผู้ขายด้วย

และนี่คือกระบวนการออกเหรียญทั้งหมดแบบสรุปง่าย ๆ ของ Bitkub ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นวิธีที่ใหม่ และไม่มีใครเคยทำในประเทศไทย ที่มีการแจกเหรียญให้คนมีส่วนร่วม หลักหลายแสนคนพร้อมกันในคราวเดียว

คำถามก็คือ อะไรจะเกิดขึ้นต่อไป ?

สำหรับคนที่ได้เหรียญมา 13.16 KUB ถึง 130.04 KUB บางคนอาจไม่ขายในทันที เพราะที่ราคา 30 บาท คนที่ขายก็จะได้เงินมา 394.8 บาท ถึง 3,901.2 บาท ซึ่งไม่ได้เป็นเงินจำนวนมาก เมื่อเทียบกับการถือไว้ต่อไปเพื่อหวังว่าราคาเหรียญจะขึ้นในอนาคต

ในทางกลับกัน อาจมีคนจำนวนไม่น้อยที่ยอมซื้อเหรียญเพิ่ม เพื่อหวังว่าเหรียญจะมีมูลค่าเพิ่มในอนาคต โดยเขายอมจ่ายเงินเข้าบริษัท Bitkub เพื่อแลกกับเหรียญที่ Bitkub สร้างขึ้นมา

เรื่องนี้น่าสนใจ ปกติแล้วถ้าเป็นการ IPO เป็นหุ้น สัดส่วนการถือหุ้นของผู้ถือหุ้นเดิม Bitkub จะถูก Dilute หรือลดสัดส่วนลง แต่การออกเหรียญของ Bitkub คราวนี้ สัดส่วนการถือหุ้นของผู้ถือหุ้น Bitkub ทุกคนจะเท่าเดิมทุกประการ กำไรของ Bitkub ก็ยังอยู่ที่บริษัท Bitkub เหมือนเดิม

คำถามที่หลายคนอาจจะเกิดคำถามตามมาก็คือ
ในทางพื้นฐาน 30 บาทต่อเหรียญ หรือมูลค่าเหรียญรวมกันทั้งหมด 30,000 ล้านบาท
คนถือไปแล้วได้อะไร ?

Bitkub ให้ข้อมูลไว้ว่าเหรียญ KUB สามารถนำไปแลกเป็น Fee Credit เพื่อลดค่าธรรมเนียมในการซื้อขายบนกระดานเทรดของ Bitkub

นอกจากนั้น Bitkub ยังพัฒนา Bitkub Chain ที่เปิดให้ผู้พัฒนาคนอื่น ๆ สามารถสร้าง Smart Contract ซึ่งต้องใช้ เหรียญ KUB เป็นค่าธรรมเนียม (Gas Fee) ในการทำธุรกรรมบนบล็อกเชน ซึ่งเรื่องนี้จะคล้ายกับเหรียญ Ethereum และ Binance ในต่างประเทศ ที่มีระบบนิเวศบล็อกเชนเป็นของตนเอง

ก็ต้องติดตามกันต่อไปว่าในวันพรุ่งนี้ การซื้อขายเหรียญ KUB ของ Bitkub จะได้รับความนิยมขนาดไหน
และถ้ามันสำเร็จ มันก็อาจจะ “เปิดโลก” ให้บริษัทอื่นที่มีลูกค้าในมือจำนวนมาก ออกเหรียญในลักษณะแบบที่ Bitkub ทำในอนาคต ซึ่งก็น่าสนใจว่า ก.ล.ต. จะมีการปรับกฎเกณฑ์อะไรเพิ่มเติม ถ้าเห็นการออกเหรียญในลักษณะแบบนี้มากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ในอนาคตหรือไม่

เรื่องนี้เป็นกรณีศึกษาที่น่าสนใจ
ปกติแล้ว ยูนิคอร์น คือมูลค่าที่ประเมินโดยจะถูกนักลงทุนให้มูลค่าบริษัทว่าใหญ่ขนาดไหน จะยอมซื้อหุ้นในมูลค่าที่ประเมินเกิน 30,000 ล้านบาทหรือไม่

แต่ในกรณีของ Bitkub ดูเหมือนว่าจะสามารถกำหนดโชคชะตาได้ด้วยตนเอง ด้วยการบอกกับคนทั่วไปว่าเหรียญของพวกเขาที่จะออกมาทั้งหมด จะต้องมีมูลค่าเป็น “ยูนิคอร์น” ตั้งแต่วันแรก..
