pixelbook評價 在 [情報] Google已經正式放棄開發平板電腦- 看板MobileComm 的推薦與評價

根據Google硬體部門主管Rick Osterloh最近在Twitter的推文表示，Google將會停止開發
平板電腦，相關人員將會轉而專注開發PixelBook 筆電，但將會持續與合作廠商配合平板
電腦系統Android 與Chrome OS的開發。
自從2017年停產最後Pixel C平板後，去年發布的PixelSlate的評價也不是很好，因此
Google決定把重心轉移到laptop上，而今年也預估會有新的Pxielbook登場。

其實Google的平板一直都做得不是很好，對於平板專屬App的優化也沒有改進
最後被砍掉也是很正常的。本人最近也購入了一台iPad Mini 5目前覺得平板
市場的確就是iPad的天下，雖說也要看價格定位，便宜的平板還是會有市場，
但Chrome OS目前沒有這麼適合當平板，用在教育用途倒是還OK。Pixelbook如果
賣來台灣對我還是很有吸引力的，只不過如果可以整合灌Win 10可用性會更高!
近日看來Google大概不會這麼做，之前聽說的Campfire項目似乎被砍了!
