3 years ago, my family doctor, Dr Lee gave me a prescription for my high blood cholesterol - not Statins but I was prescribed to get a daily dose of exercises 20-30 mins a day! 👨⚕️👨⚕️

This was how I started my journey of keeping fit even in my late fifties now. No slimming pills or supplements can work that body. Exercise for overall fitness, mental well-being & increase your energy level + also to sleep better! 😉😉

🙌🏻From 4 to FIVE of us now! Everything seems so surreal, omg! Personally, i'm still in a dazed on what had just happened 3 days ago.
But my (aftermath) pain, aches, cracks, and fatigue reminds me that we have finally got thru the most scary part of the waiting game - labour!
So I took the epidural and went shivering for over 10 hours just to get dilated after being induced from 2cm. Had intense contraction since 9am in the morning on 30 june. This was the first time, my epidural works liked magic! It only took less than few mins to find the hole thru my bones. From my previous labour i had 45mins of pain just to get the epidural in and it was sweat (doctor) and tears (me).
And this was my first time not feeling any pain while pushing, i mean how smooth can the process be? Though i admit it was harder to push as i dont get the urge to, but still my hub say we managed to within 4 to 5 long and hard pushes (not easy hor). And everything else was just history while i enjoy our first 2 hours of skin to skin #precious moments.
Its only after the epidural wears off then i realized, my right pelvis hurts and its difficult to walk but i still try to make my way down the bed on the 2nd day. Struggling liked a over flapped turtle just to go to pee. Adding on the cracked nipple pain (mei mei mouth so small la) , every latch is extricating pain so it was breastmilk and nipple cream for the rescue 💪🏻 #healing the skin while latching every 1 to 2 hours is no joke man. Even for this 3rd time mama, some pain is really unspeakable 🤦♀️😭. But i know i need to endure this! Plus now with the milk kicking in. Im waddling at home with two hard rocks 😂 seeing our princess well and fed is more important than my little suffering #partandparcel of motherhood ya!
Figuring out how to handle 3 kids at the same time, will be overwhelming for us im sure, especially daddy who havent gotten his rest from day 1 of labour and being my confinement "man". Really appreciate his efforts.. We love u @der_rick!
Plus, our experience with @parkwayeasthospital was as awesome as our past 2 births. Will definitely pen it down soon to share what to expect for those still in the waiting game! 💪 @ Bloom Photography

Here's another Indoor Walking Workout for you! This time, the exercises will also target your waistline - to tone up and strengthen the CORE. This workout is low impact and beginner friendly. It's great for everyone to do at home, plus it's lots of fun! Simple exercises, yet extremely effective.
Your heart rate will be increased, you'll be burning lots of calories and fat. While filming this workout, I managed to hit 2.9km and also burned 250Cals in just under 30 mins. You'll be burning an average of 200 - 300 calories depending on your speed of walking, workout intensity, fitness level and also body composition.
INTERVAL: 45 secs Work - 15 secs Rest

Your challenge this time is to hit 10,000 STEPS DAILY!!
It takes an average of 100 mins of slow walk to hit 10,000 steps or an average of 70 mins of vigorous walk to hit 10,000!
Here is a 30-Min Indoor Step Workout to help you achieve your daily step goal!! I clocked in just over 4,000 steps by doing this workout and burned over 220 calories. Do this challenge twice daily and also choose to walk more when you are out and about running your daily chores or work.
Walking can be as good as a workout, if not better, than running. I would highly recommend walking because it is a low impact and safe workout, especially for those who are extremely overweight or might have knee injuries.
Know this, walking CAN get your heart pumping, muscles working, and fat burning—all of the things that a real workout is meant to achieve.
So let's start WALKING and hit at least 10,000 steps daily. Are you with me?
