Additionally, American Citizens abroad are reporting that it is increasingly difficult to return to the United States given significant flight cancellations. The American Institute in Taiwan urges American citizens who plan to return to the United States to do so as soon as possible.
✅Important information for visa applicants regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19):
As of March 20, AIT has suspended routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments. AIT is also suspending applications for Interview Waiver. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment.
