NOTE:
- You will know if you learned a "Technique", if your teacher makes you do 1 thing a hundred times (and not 20 things a few times)
- You will know if you can Groove, if you go to a Black (Latino) Party in the Hood, and you dance with some one, and they don't walk away.
- You will know if you have solid foundation, if you throw down in a cipher, contest, or corner, and an OG/OT approaches YOU! (out of the blue) and says "you got down"
- You will know if you are teaching your students correctly, when a beat drops at an event, party, or walking down the street, and they immediately start catching a groove (not a step or move) when no one is watching.
- You will know if a dancer's swag is real, when the same 2 step they do before battle, matches the 2 step they do on the dance floor.
- You will know if your dance is solid, when you can rock with an open drink in your hand, and never spill a drop.
- You will know you are REALLY free-styling/beat freaking/doing musicality, when you rock a beat you NEVER HEARD BEFORE, and still catch the bells and whistles.
- You will know when you reached your pinnacle in dance, when you rock for 30 years plus, and you are still hungry to learn =)
