This week, I am proud to bring our new guest Rozana Isa, an advocate in women's rights movement in Malaysia since 1999 to #SundayNightWithAH
Rozana is also currently serving as an Executive Director of Sisters in Islam (SIS), an NGO advancing the rights of Muslim women within the framework of Islam, human rights, constitutional guarantees and lived realities.
Join me and Rozana this Sunday at 8.30 pm on our Instagram Live (@ainiehaziqah or @rozanaisa) as we both dive deeper to talk about domestic violence; an issue that is very much prevalent in today's society. It is time that we educate ourselves about domestic violence and learn about our rights.
See you this Sunday!

6am thoughts. It sucks BUT.
I'm not victim blaming, but I just can't stand the fucking hypocrisy.
APART FROM EVERYTHING that has been happening; I can't help but think that as much as this social justice crap has been stupid, in a sense that if people just behaved well, all of this could have been avoided.
On top of whatever the fuck that is happening with women (and let's just talk about this first). Is that, women have also contributed to the issues itself. I’m not saying all, but SOME. Those who have claimed to fight for women's rights, who have claimed to stand by your side and help you through this.
When in reality, whatever they have done has been far worse than men. They'd sabotage their own kind for their own petty gains. They'd shit on other women for their own petty reasons, and do whatever the misogynists would do like:
1. Claim that women cannot succeed, especially in this industry; just because they are women.
2. Shit on literally any other woman who is supposedly 'a threat' to them; and when I say threat, they probably aren't even real threats but petty drama and/or jealousy that they are too proud to admit.
3. They side with toxic men, just so that they're excluded from 'the pitiful bunch'.
4. Accredit your progress/success solely to sexual promiscuity; and weaponizing your femininity
And suddenly, when this entire movement re-surfaced, especially in our industry. I can't help but see so many of these people try to jump on the hype-train and claim shit, like 'I AM WOMAN, I SIDE WOMEN".
But throughout all these years they have done nothing but the opposite. All of the cyberbullying and slandering that I, personally had to deal with are MOSTLY from other women.
So please. Stop.
At this point you can probably see that it's not just because men are toxic. Women are also toxic. PEOPLE in general are toxic. And this all broods off of selfishness, people; to a fault, are selfish.
If you really want to help; stop contributing to the problem, and start relearning how to be a decent human being.
Stop putting other people down, just to try and make yourself look better.
Stop judging people based solely on your own assumptions.
Stop talking shit about people just because 'your friends said so'; there’s always two sides to every coin, and if this happened to you; try thinking whether or not you’d find it fair.
Stop all this crap. Seriously.
You can fool others into thinking that you’re so into that whole ‘women’s rights’ thing. But for the people who have suffered through the shit; that YOU put them through, and got away with it; and for so long, you’re nothing but a- wait. You are worse than shit. You are nothing.
So please. Before you start jumping on this whole thing. Take a good hard look at yourself first, and ask yourself; if you really stand for what you speak.
It’s already hard enough. All people have to do is just be decent human beings to eachother and things would be a whole lot better.
