You may have noticed that I got my COVID-19 jabs on my right arm. That’s because the practice is to be jabbed in your non-dominant arm, and I’m left-handed, like about 10% of people.
For earlier generations, being left-handed had negative connotations. Some parents would forcibly train their left-handed children to be right-handed. Fortunately, this is no longer common. You can buy left-handed items like scissors, instruments, and even gaming mice! Left-handed cameras are rare, but I use a right-handed one just fine.
Left-handers have gotten used to living in a majority right-handed world. But today is International Left-Handers Day, our very own day to celebrate being different. Let’s remember that we are all unique in our own special ways, and we can all help build a more inclusive world together. – LHL

大家一起 HIGH 起来!
Decided to bring the kids out for a karaoke session to reward myself after nearly a week of solo parenting. Woohoo!
Yup, sometimes they need to do what Mama loves to do instead of always the other way round, right? Well, anyway, it's easy to see that all three of them ❤ to sing too lor!
Luckily, I brought along two extra mics so everyone could have one each and for those three hours, we sang - and ate our takeaway dinner and snacks - to our hearts' content. It's a rare Thursday mum-and-kids night out but hey, there's no school tomorrow for them mah, so must 尽情地玩!
走音 and squeaky voices aside, the most important thing was we had so, so much fun together tonight! Yup, we really let loose and felt free as we sang, danced, jumped, played the musical instruments and laughed together. The girls are seasoned karaoke goers but tonight, I was so thankful and amazed to see that the 3yo totally enjoyed himself too. 不信你自己看 on IG, 哈哈. I hope these moments will stay in our hearts always and that we will always make time for fun.
Wow. Still feeling very high now. And happy. All ready for the weekend with these babies tomorrow!
P.S. It was past 10pm and I asked them if they wanna take taxi or bus. The former would have taken us just 15 minutes. They chose the latter, which we had to switch and somehow waited very long for both buses, and we ended up reaching home near midnight lor. But, we were watching all these clips and they just kept laughing at each other and at me, haha, and I am just glad to feel that love and joy amongst all of us tonight. ❤

IELTS SPEAKING PART 1 SAMPLE ANSWER TOPIC MUSIC
1. Do you like listening to music?
Yes, of course, I’ve always been a big fan of music since I was a little girl. I’m really into going to a lot of music festival such as Thơm which was held in Saigon at Hoa Lư stadium. Sometimes I alsolisten to music before sleeping at night for one hour and when I am riding my motorbike, which will both help me relax and feel more energetic when I hear the tune.
2. What kinds of music do you like to listen to?
For me, I am interested in the traditional instrumental music, like pianos and guitars. It is an impressive combination that can give you a both nostalgic and modern feelings. Normally on rainy days, opening acoustics songs and sing along to my favorite Vũ hits, have a cuppa and let my hair down, music will do the rest.
3. Do you play any kinds of musical instruments?
Due to my total lack of rhythm and the fact that I am tone deaf, I would not even consider embarassing myself with any attempt to play a musical instrument. On a related subject, on the rare occassion that I attempt to sing a hymn in church, along with everyone else.
4. How do you feel when you listen to this music?
Everything depends on the type of music I’m listening to. For example when you’re happy and listen to some happy music. It will boost your happiness. On the other hand if you’re sad, sad music might get you even more sad. But most of the time, listening to some music helps me pick up my energy and chill a bit.

It's the Gong Beyond Gongs... A giant 55 inch masterpiece, adorned with the Milky Way.
Gong Master Martin Bläse, from Germany, is a third generation silversmith. The artist handcrafted the giant "Beyond" from nickel silver for his tour of Asia.
He says it takes him over 80,000 taps with a hammer to turn a custom-made metal sheet into a regular sized gong - let alone a giant like this one.
He is in Hong Kong on his first tour of Asia. He played on Friday night (May 11, 2019) at Martha Collard 's Red Doors Studio.
Gongs are one of the oldest musical instruments and date back to the Bronze Age. Martin Bläse makes sacred instruments with both rare and common metals and is a pioneer of the use of titanium.
