Thankfully, I was given the opportunity by the then @mstaronlineofficial Editor Kak Faridah Hitam who was a super 'otai' in journalism arena to pen my own dedicated Sunday column for more than a year before the print version was finally seized to be published. I definitely had a ball at it sharing my thoughts/knowledge/experiences in culinary/baking/pastry arts, education, entertainment, food promotions, food-related travel experiences, countless mouth-watering local & foreign recipes, etc. in my own ways and lingo as if I was personally talking to the readers. That approach managed to draw even the non-Malays & highly-educated ones to become my avid readers and followers alike, I was told. It had surely taught me a lot of things about writing, enriched my vocabulary, improved my sentence structures, usage of appropriate punctuations, better discipline & ethics in journalism, etc., among others.
