COVID-19 has kept people apart. The circuit breaker is still fresh in our minds, and some of us are still physically separated from loved ones overseas. But the pandemic has also reinforced the importance of the bonds we share, and even a simple hug is something we miss.

Valentine’s Day may look quite different this year, with more staying home. But the meaning behind the holiday – to show affection to those we care for – remains. I hope you’ll reach out, and tell someone you love how much they mean to you. And hopefully by this time next year, we’ll all be able to spend time unfettered with those we cherish. I PRAY FOR YOU... Surah Al-Mursalat is one of my favourite surahs in the Quran, especially the version recited by @omarhishamalarabi. I must confess that when I first read this surah many many years back, I didn’t take the initiative to read the meaning of this surah. When I came to carefully learn its meaning, it gave me goosebumps!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels frightened when hearing about The Last Day or The Last Hour. The day when there will be violent storms, great shaking of earthquakes. Thinking about the last hour, I reflected upon my life. They say that life is the result of our own actions. I couldn’t agree more! The seeds of our actions we plant in this world...we will taste its fruits in the life after. Whether the fruit is sweet or sour, we’re solely accountable for it!

And glad tidings from Allah be to those who bear patience. Patience when facing tough times. Patience when dealing with the loss of loved ones. Patience when suffering with great illness. Allah has guaranteed those who are patient that He will give them rewards without measure. Patience and victory are twin brothers. Allah promised those who are patient that He is with them and will grant them a clear victory!

I’m addressing you...anyone who is affected by sickness or illness, especially my dearest sister Mrs Mom @thefamily.uk. I sincerely pray for you: “May The Almighty, who is capable of making the impossible possible, heal you and give you strength. May He grant you a cure. May He grant you miraculous recovery. May the love, peace and comfort be with you as you battle this illness. May He cure you and reward you for all the suffering that you’re going through. May He grant you a complete return to normal health and make you even better than you were before.” 💝

Basically, most women are actually super women. We used to take care of every one around us, our family members, our parents, our partner, our children, our team… and very often, we put us at the end of the queue. Joy Fok, our guest this time, a world traveller and TV producer, and I had gone through a lot, to find ourselves, to be truly responsible, meaning care about our own business, and not trying to rescue the world or our loved ones.

What is your “Abundance Level”? How do we distinguish between being responsible? Being loving, caring and giving? When should we stop? Where should we draw the line of healthy boundary? Many of us just give, give, give, without knowing where we come from, such as guilt, playing rescuer, mothering others or what?

We have learned so much from our past decades of life, and come to love ourselves, and put ourselves first and foremost. We have come up with 7 Keys to Be A Happy Woman, even a woman leader. And, how to lead a lif of Abundance?

1) Do what you love only, do not compromise;
2) Take care of ourselves first and foremost;
3) You can’t give have we don’t have;
4) Are you willing to give up “something”?
5) Are you being too harsh to yourself?
6) Ask for help when you need to;
7) Enjoy life in your own terms.
