What did you do this pandemic?
🤗 Mission 100
During this pandemic its wasn't easy for many, some decided to end their lives, and more trying to survive on a daily basis.
Mission 100 is a mission I have pledge myself to give assistance to at least one hundred (100) families.
The first mission providing food aids started in July 2021 with a few friends and support from clients, colleagues and family & friends. In Cash and in goods. 💐💯
Places delivered and visited (organised through 🌸 personal & also associations - 🌺 Trefoil Guild Malaysia - Sabah Branch | 🌹 中华旗袍协会国际联盟 World Chinese Cheongsam Alliance )
1) Kg Saga, near One Borneo - 30 families (affected by pandemic)
2) Kg Babah, Penampang - 18 families (Flood victims)
3) Girl Guides members (25 families)
4) Kg Pulau Penampang, near One Borneo (30 families)
5) Kg Natai, Telipok (30 families)
Its more than 100 families throughout this three months.
Through all the missions, we went through strangers calling our mobile, in which somehow kindness do need patience and genuine background checking. So many to story about, if we started from scratch.
Lives is a journey to learn.

TUANKU SULTAN JOHOR BRINGS CHEER TO NEEDY FAMILIES IN MUKIM PLENTONG
Some 330 needy families in Mukim Plentong were all smiles today (10 Aug) on receiving much needed food aid from HM Tuanku Sultan Johor.
The distribution of the aid was coordinated by the Church of St Joseph led by Fr Moses Yap. On hand to give out the food boxes was Mejar Cina Dato’ David Wong, representing the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (SIJF). Also present was Mukim Plentong chief, Mohd. Nurul Faiz Aman.
The food boxes, comprising basic household provisions and packets of instant noodles, were later given out to the grateful recipients, many of whom have been hard hit by the protracted pandemic and desperately in need of a life line and assistance.
Fr. Moses, whose church had reached out to SIJF on behalf of the local villagers, expressed his indebtedness and gratitude to HM Tuanku Sultan Johor for his kindness and benevolence towards his subjects during these desperate times.
“All during this difficult period of the raging pandemic, we have been trying to help as many people as possible irrespective or race or religion. Today’s gracious contributions by Tuanku Sultan will go a long way towards alleviating the hardships being endured by these families, many of whom are in dire need now,” he said to the Royal Press Office (RPO).
One of the beneficiaries of the aid, Joanis Anak Inggang, 50, who lost his job as a factory worker last May, thanked His Majesty for the generous donation.
“I have four young kids to feed…I cannot find any jobs. I am truly touched and extremely thankful to Tuanku Sultan,” he said.
The Mukim chief, Mohd Nurul Faiz Aman said the food aid had come when many families were desperately in need.
“Many have lost jobs and have no income and can’t even put food on their table for their families. We deeply appreciate His Majesty’s kindness. We’re so blessed to have a Ruler who truly cares for his subjects,” he stated.

This is official beat of "Ghen Cô Vy" English version. You can take this for joining our #EndCoVchallenge cover. Don't forget to tag me and hashtag #EndCoVchallenge #GhenCoVy on your post!
The #EndCoV project, which includes “Ghen Co Vy” song in Vietnamese, the handwashing dance #ghencovychallenge #handwashingmove and now includes the English version of the song, is a creative health communication project by the National Institute of Occupational and Environmental Health (NIOEH) - Vietnam Ministry of Health, in collaboration with musician Khac Hung, singer Min and Erik, dancer Quang Dang and Goodwill Ambassador Chau Bui. We are thrilled to have the support going forward from the United Nation Development Program (UNDP).
With the spirit of “prevention is better than cure” in this long war, each person being aware of the need to protect oneself, one’s family and community is very important. The project aims to join hands with the community in building personal preventative habits and to encourage our frontline fighters - doctors, epidemiologists, healthcare workers and millions of frontline workers who are exposing themselves daily in the pandemic.
What we are doing is a drop in the ocean but we believe if united, all of us can do a lot more for the community. Above all, we hope that all of us will together practice personal and community preventative habits, spread positive energy and kindness, for a better world.
Together, let’s fight to #EndCoV!

The Covid19, has many of us glued to the news, concerned for loved ones, and adapting our lives to deal with the changes the pandemic is having on our homes, schools, and work-places. It’s pretty daunting, stressful and definitely tough.
A lot of systemic inequality has been exposed as the realities of the pandemic response set in. It’s easier for some people to deal with the crisis than others.
So I think we need to have more compassion and kindness and patience than ever before as well try and deal with this crisis.
On this episode, I speak to Ms Maalini Ramalo, Director For Social Protection of CovidCareMY. She roped me in to be one of the spokespersons for this initiative and I immediately said YES!
She explains the need for a KINDNESS Challenge and why we need to all be empathic at these crucial times. Find out more how you can help the marginalised and vulnerable communities by clicking going to their FB and IG pages : @CovidCareMY.
I also speak to Music Producer Roshan Jamrock who had started an initiative with a bunch of friends getting folks to post videos of themselves singing any Malaysian song and loading them up over their social media pages with the respective hashtags.
Thanks to this #MalaysianMusicCoverChallenge, frontliners will be given equipment to assist them in their work against the virus.
Next, I speak to mother of 3, Farrah Fadil who shares how the family and her cope under the RMO. Her son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 18months and she believes certain essential oils and exercise is great therapy for Daniel. I wore blue in support of World Autism Awareness Day and I'm so happy when she told me that the autistic support is better now than it was 15 years ago.
Finally, I speak to fellow Sabahan Hanif Naim , co-owner of My Olive Box - a new business selling delicious homecooked food. Please support them by ordering from My Olive Box.
They were just about to launch their business when the virus put a halt to their plans. Kindness comes in support too, so I wanted to do my part in helping a fellow entrepreneur out some exposure out. Sadap oh!
Should we do this daily or just from Monday to Friday? And is 4PM okay with you?
Let me know in your comments.
