I present to you my now dead Phalenopsis. 😂😂 i didnt pluck off those flowers btw, they’d all fallen off, i decided to make the best of it. Hahaha I had to get it for a shoot, and had a feeling it wouldn’t survive very long cos I’m no good with plants, haha. But I was still a bit sad it died so fast!?? Then an old friend, @mintio_photo, randomly messaged me and said “It will have other blooms babe. Just continue to care for it even after all these current blooms have wilted. It is a cycle, between blooming and wilting. It all depends on how we see it’s beauty.”
It felt to me quite in line with the spirit of some of interactions in which I have experienced love and gentleness during this period. Small but meaningful.
Between quite a few of my friends and I, I feel like “I love you” has sounded a lot like “It’s ok, I understand.” Haha. I mean, I definitely haven’t been as present as I would’ve liked, and when they’ve expressed the same- we say “It’s ok, I understand.”
I think we’ve created a little trampoline/net of “It’s ok, I understand”s. Haha
Looove this Ying the Label and Dr Jade Kua collaboration with the lovely hand painted abstract hearts! They’ll make such sweet gifts! Also, 10% of the proceeds will be going towards @pangdemoniumtheatre!
