1990年3月26號，愛爾蘭吉他手Gary Moore發行了他個人名義下(註1)第8張錄音室專輯
<Still Got the blues>，這張專輯讓Gary Moore在藍調搖滾的歷史洪流裡記上一筆，
Still Got the blues這首歌更是幾乎成了Gary Moore的代名詞，甚至到了你可能沒聽過
Gary Moore但你跟本認得這首歌那標誌性的前奏。我永遠忘不了第一次在youtube上點開
still got the blues的影片，那濫情的旋律與Gary Moore在彈奏時忘情的推弦以及伴隨
的肢體動作狠狠地搖滾了我的整個世界，從此我知道這個人勢必得成為我的吉他英雄之一
，但受到Gary Moore影響的絕對不會只有我這無名小卒，今天要談談這些年來致敬過
Gary Moore的人們。
那些年，他們致敬過的Gary Moore。
我決定從這支影片開始，認真於經營youtube channel的吉他手Martin Miller推出不少致
敬影片，包含Queen、Deep Purple、Pink Floyd…等等都在他的致敬之列。這支影片他找
來了tone king Andy Timmons 一起彈了這首Gary Moore的名曲。

歐洲合唱團2011年在英國舉行的短期巡迴Balls N’ Banner Tour中都加入了The Loner這
首歌，由主奏吉他手John Norum彈奏 ，向不久前剛過世的Gary Moore致敬。

超級吉他手Paul Gilbert也表演過不少Gary Moore的歌，最常表演的自然是Still got
the blues。
選這個版本而非點閱率最高的版本純粹因為solo時有拍到臉，非常膚淺的理由，但
guitar faces也是很重要的。

熱騰騰的影片，Paul Gilbert表演曾被芬蘭樂團Nightwish翻唱過的Gary Moore名曲over

說到超級吉他手，generation axe這組合夠超級了吧，在北美巡迴中他們端出了新菜單，
由靠五聲音階征戰大江南北的硬漢 Zakk Wylde以及Extreme吉他手Nuno Bettencourt一起
表演，最後Steve Vai一起上台收尾。話說跑下來彈吉他已經是這個巡迴的老梗了，相信
2017有入場看generation axe在台大體育館表演的朋友們一定很難忘懷Zakk Wylde跑下台

在<Still Got the blues>這張專輯裡Gary Moore收錄了All your love 這首歌。1960年
代還拿著Gibson的Eric Clapton 與John Mayall and the Bluesbreaker那張著名的The
Beano album(註2)內就收錄了All Your love這首歌，Gary Moore對於這首歌的彈奏明顯
是受到Eric的影響，而在Gary Moore過世後Eric Clapton也致敬了這位小老弟。

以他結尾我認為很適當，因為日本超技吉他手Kelly Simonz簡直就是Gary Moore的大粉絲
，他詮釋的Gary Moore也相當對味，事實上我根本認為他是cover過the loner的人裡面最
棒的一個。Kelly Simonz實在是cover過太多Gary的歌了，他甚至會在自己的表演上把

對Gary Moore的致敬實在是太多了，2018年才剛有一張致敬專輯問世，但對我來說並沒有
什麼新奇的東西，不如聽聽Gary的原版。在寫這篇文章的時候也發現有個團體/活動叫做
Remember Phil & Gary，非常瘋狂，每年辦一場致敬兩人的演場會。華人圈當然也有不少
人受到Gary Moore所影響，蕭敬騰唱Still got the blues的影片網路上隨處可見、歌唱
比賽出身的于文文曾經在演出的戲劇裡說服劇組使用parisienne walkaways。
話說到這邊大概就夠了，最後讓我再聽一次那個當年震撼我的世界的版本。

註1: 1973年的<Grinding stone>專輯以The Gary Moore band的名義發行，故Gary Moore
第一張個人錄音室專輯由1978年的<Back on the streets>開始算起。
註2: 1966年的<Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton>專輯由於專輯拍攝封面期間Eric
clapton不肯配合而低頭看著手中的兒童漫畫書The Beano，故此專輯又被稱為The Beano
album。值得一提的是專輯錄製期間Eric Clapton為了仿效現場音色而採取把音箱音量轉
大並把收音麥克風放置於距離音箱一段距離的方式錄音。
