[Pernah dengar nama BRAHIM?? Kenapa BRAHIM????........ by Dr Nazri Khan]
Buy this great stock. Out of 927 listed stocks in Bursa Malaysia, I believe this local stock is the most promising and may explode 100% within two years. It is not as crazy as it sounds.
Just like Sapura Kencana and Power Root (our best call last year with a gain of 100%), the reason I am confident with this stock is that there is huge earning and sales visibility into their operations. The company business model is pretty straightforward, sales highly predictable & profit steady. Both fundamentals and technicals are convergingly positive. Although dividends are virtually zero, the company rate of expansion are impressive over the last three years.
This stock is called Brahim Holding Berhad (Stock Code : 9474). Latest price is RM2.21.
It is Malaysia’s leading halal in-flight catering company which is owned by Brahim International Franchise, Tabung Haji and Koperasi Permodalan Felda. It provides catering and operates a portfolio of fast food and casual dining restaurants in KLIA and LCCT.
Five quick catalyst why I expect Brahim to run up :
1. Brahim is the leading global halal food player with international halal industry growing 20% a year. There are approximately 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide, more than 20% of the world's population, and air travel demand between USA/Europe/Japan and Islamic countries is projected to increase exponentially. Being the operator of the world’s largest halal flight kitchen, Brahim will get massive opportunities to be third party halal food caterers outside Malaysia.
2. 2014 will be Visit Malaysia Year and 2015 will be declared Malaysia Festival Year. Islamic Tourist should easily swell 30% a year from 5 million last year to 10 million by end 2015. Brahim sales therefore should easily doubled and so does the share price.
3. The opening of KLIA2 will bring at least 10 new airlines and should explode growth of airport passenger traffic. Assuming 10% increase of passenger, Brahim earnings should compound 30% every year.
4. Brahim has a strong political connection with Datuk Ibrahim Ahmad Badawi being the Executive Chairman and majority shareholder of the company. Frankly, this should give extra bullets to Brahim in Malaysia Boleh business world.
5. Finally, the aggressive effort by PM and Government to make Malaysia as the Islamic Economic Capital of the world should strongly support Brahim business model. This mean having a respectable Islamic Banking Hub, Islamic Consumer Products Hub & Islamic Halal Food Hub. If this become a reality, expect Brahim to be easily the global halal F&B giant by 2020.
Just my humble view. Buy Brahim on dips. Hold two years. No contra. Use Affin Trade. Gud luck

Adding to an already tremendous season, Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson on Tuesday was named the winner of the Maurice Podoloff Trophy as the NBA's Most Valuable Player for the 2000-01 season.
Iverson totaled 1,121 points and received 93 of a possible 124 first-place votes in the balloting done by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.
San Antonio's Tim Duncan finished second with 706 points (18 first-place votes) and Los Angeles Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal, last year's MVP, was third with 578 points (seven first place-votes). Sacramento's Chris Webber finished fourth in the voting with 521 points (five first-place votes) and Minnesota's Kevin Garnett was fifth with 151 points (one first-place vote).
At 6-0, Iverson is the shortest player in NBA history to win the award. At 165 pounds, he is also the lightest player in NBA history to win. Bob Cousy, the NBA Most Valuable Player in 1956-57, previously held the distinction at 6-1 and 175 pounds.
Iverson was the only player named on all 124 ballots. O'Neal, Duncan and Webber were named on 121, 120 and 116 ballots, respectively. Seventeen players received at least one vote.
In his fifth NBA season out of Georgetown, Iverson led the Sixers to an Eastern Conference-best 56 victories, the most for the franchise since 1985, and their first Atlantic Division title since 1990. He becomes the first Sixer to be named league MVP since Moses Malone won his third MVP award in 1982-83.
A fierce competitor at both ends of the floor, Iverson finished the season with a career-high and league-leading 31.1 points a game, while also leading the NBA in steals (2.51 a game) and minutes played (42.0 a game). He is the first player since Michael Jordan in 1992-93 to lead the league in points and steals per game.
Voted by fans to start in this year's All-Star Game, Iverson garnered MVP honors by scoring a game-high 25 points and leading the East to a 111-110 comeback victory.
On Jan. 6, Iverson recorded a career-high 54 points on 20-of-30 shooting from the field, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, in a 107-103 victory over Cleveland. Two weeks later, Iverson would again surpass the 50-point plateau by scoring 51 points in Philadelphia's 110-106 loss to Toronto on Jan. 21.
He scored 40 or more points 17 times this season, 30 or more points 35 times, was a two-time recipient of the NBA's Player of the Week award, and was named the NBA's Player of the Month for January.
The 124-member voting panel consisted of 37 national media members and three media members who cover the NBA regularly from each of the league's 29 teams. Media voted for five MVP candidates in order of preference. Points were awarded on a 10-7-5-3-1 basis.
The MVP trophy is named in honor of the late Maurice Podoloff, the first commissioner of the NBA who served from 1946 until his retirement in 1963.

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The only title Jerry Stackhouse has
been chasing since leaving Philadelphia is the scoring title.
Stackhouse scored 34 points but former teammate Allen Iverson
poured in 44 as the league-leading Philadelphia 76ers continued
their ascension at the Detroit Pistons' expense, cruising to a
105-89 rout.
After completing a franchise-record 12-game road winning streak
with an 85-84 overtime triumph at Houston on Wednesday, the
Sixers had little trouble carrying their success back to the
First Union Center.
Iverson and Stackhouse each had 13 points in the first quarter,
when Philadelphia took the lead for good, 25-21. Armed with a
better supporting cast, Iverson dictated the pace thereafter,
scoring 10 points in the second period as Philadelphia opened a
58-41 halftime lead.
"We're 33-10, 10, but next day we could be 33-11, then (33-12)
and so on," Iverson said. "We don't want that. We're going to
play every game like it's our last. We want to take it one game
at a time so that something special will happen at the end of
the season."
Stackhouse was traded to Detroit on December 18, 1997 for guard
Aaron McKie and center Theo Ratliff -- both of whom have played
significant roles in Philadelphia's rise to the top of the NBA
standings.
Stackhouse entered the contest with a league-leading 29.9-point
scoring average, but the Pistons have lost 10 of their last 11
and are 12 games behind first-place Milwaukee in the Central
Division.
He helped Detroit get within four points late in the third
quarter, but Iverson closed the period by drilling an 18-footer
and made four free throws before feeding Todd MacCulloch for a
layup that extended the advantage to 81-70 with 8:34 to play.
"The shots just didn't fall for us," Stackhouse said. "From
there, they made their shots and got it back up to 10. We were
never able to recover from that. We're hoping at some point we
can catch a break. If we put forth the same effort in the first
half that we had in the second half, it might have been a
different game."
Iverson has scored at least 30 points in seven of his last nine
games and has cracked 40 on eight occasions. Philadelphia is
15-2 since dropping back-to-back games on December 20-22 and
improved to 14-6 at home. The Sixers own the NBA's best road
mark at 19-4.
"We have come out and had letdowns at home based on the way
we've played on the road," Philadelphia coach Larry Brown said.
"For the most part, everybody realizes that we have to play the
right way in order to be successful and win. We're fortunate, we
are truly a team."
Philadelphia has taken seven of the last nine meetings in the
series.
George Lynch had 14 points and 13 rebounds and Ratliff and McKie
combined for 25 points as the Sixers moved seven games ahead of
second-place New York in the Atlantic Division. At 33-10,
Philadelphia is two games ahead of Western Conference-leading
Portland for the NBA's best overall mark.
Iverson made 14-of-29 shots, 15-of-16 free throws and picked up
five steals in 47 spectacular minutes. Stackhouse hit 12-of-32
shots and was 8-of-12 at the line. He grabbed seven rebounds to
go with five assists but also committed half of the Pistons' 12
turnovers.
Joe Smith had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Chucky Atkins scored
11 points for Detroit, which shot 38 percent (32-of-85) and lost
the battle on the boards, 49-42.
"It's hard to beat Philly when you shoot 37 percent," Detroit
coach George Irvine said. "We gave them so many easy baskets in
the first half and they manhandled us on the boards. When you
shoot like we did tonight, I don't think you're gonna beat
Philadelphia very often."
The Sixers shot 49 percent (41-of-84) and also committed 12
turnovers.
Iverson hit two free throws, a 15-footer, a 17-footer and a
layup that closed the first-half scoring, giving Philadelphia a
58-41 cushion.
Stackhouse began shooting the Pistons back into contention early
in the third quarter, hitting a 20-footer and following with a
19-footer that shaved the deficit to 60-52 with 8:49 left in the
period.
Smith converted a three-point play and added two free throws as
Detroit closed to 71-67 with 22 seconds left in the third
quarter. But Iverson knocked down an 18-footer on the ensuing
trip and the Sixers pulled away in the final period.

Allen Iverson wasn't trying to take over the game down the stretch.
It just happened -- like it typically does for him.
Iverson scored 38 points, including two big jumpers in the final two minutes, and Carmelo Anthony added 30, helping the Denver Nuggets hold on for a 110-104 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.
"My whole thing was not so much taking over, but just trying to win the basketball game," he said. "I got a couple of good looks at the end."
Iverson put the Nuggets ahead for good with an 18-foot, off-balance floater with 1:23 remaining. Anthony sealed the Nuggets' second straight win with a critical rebound and putback with 43 seconds left.
Anthony's work on the boards earned glowing praise from Iverson after the game. He finished with 14 rebounds, two shy of his career high.
"When he puts his mind to it, he can do anything on the basketball court," Iverson said. "He can dominate in every aspect. Rebounding, that's all effort. When Melo gets down low and starts banging with those guys, it's hard for people to defend him."
Anthony credited his aggressive play on the boards to simply wanting to take the pressure off Marcus Camby and Kenyon Martin.
"I know I can do it," he said. "I know when I want to do it, and when I do it, nobody can stop me."
He'll receive no arguments from Denver coach George Karl. He wouldn't mind seeing that type of rebounding performance from Anthony all the time.
"He won tonight with rebounding," said Karl, who picked up his 864th victory, tying him with Jack Ramsay for 10th place on the career coaching list. "The rebound and putback were great."
The Clippers, down by as many as 13 points in the second half, momentarily took the lead on two free throws by Corey Maggette with 2:17 left.
However, Iverson worked his way free and hit a jumper to tie it at 104. On the next trip, he gave Denver a lead it wouldn't relinquish.
"My shot felt good from the beginning of the game until the end," Iverson said.
The Nuggets were coming off a 138-96 rout of Seattle in which they shot a franchise-record 67 percent from the floor. Denver couldn't keep up the blistering pace, shooting 45 percent against Los Angeles.
Camby had 12 points and 17 rebounds, his 23rd double-double of the season, and Martin added 13 points.
Al Thornton came off the bench to tie a career high with 33 points and set a new high in rebounds with 12. Maggette added 28 points, while Brevin Knight had a season-high 12 assists as the Clippers dropped their fourth straight game.
"We're playing as hard as we can, but unfortunately they have two All-Stars over there that finished the game off," Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy said. "Iverson made some great shots, made some great plays down the stretch and our guys did the best that they could."
Maggette couldn't fault with his team's play. He just wishes the Clippers weren't so banged up.
"We played them hard with what we got going on," he said.
The Clippers were without big man Chris Kaman, who missed his fourth straight game with a sore lower back.
They also waived popular point guard Sam Cassell on Thursday, opening the door for him to sign with a contender such as the Boston Celtics.
"Sam meant a lot to this team," Maggette said. "He brought leadership, he brought us together. We understand. It's a business."
