Describe a piece of clothing you enjoy wearing

When I read the cue card, the first piece of clothing coming to mind was a beautiful dress.
This is a dress in yellow and white. It is made of light fabrics which totally suit an energetic girl like me. When I was a little girl, my family was poor and my parents couldn’t afford to buy new clothes for me, so the dress was a hand – me- down as a birthday gift from my sister. I can say that it absolutely goes out of fashion and is worn out.
I only wore it on some special occasions when I needed to dress up such as Tet holiday or the beginning day at school, and I usually mixed it with sandals. However, if I wear it now, I’m sure people would say I have awful taste in clothes.
You know, I have been really into this dress because it was my first dress I had ever received on my birthday, and it was more special because it came from my sister who I didn’t get on well with at that time. Besides, I look extremely elegant in this dress. To be honest, even it’s an old dress now, but at that time it was really the in-thing. And I have to say that my sister had an eye for fashion. I like it, so I still put it in my wardrobe as a good memory.
All in all, I believe that this dress has a major effect on my style of clothes. And whenever I see it, it reminds me of the happy moments in the past.
