To mark the beginning of the race weekend, Tourism Malaysia presents the Sapura & Kencana Petroleum Red Ribbon GP Ball 2012 to be held at the Grand Ballroom, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur on Thursday 22nd March 2012.
This glamorous ball will bring together two of KL’s highlights on the social calendar that is the Annual F1 Gala and the Malaysian AIDS Foundation’s own Biennial Red Ribbon Gala for an evening of glitz and glamour to raise funds for the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) and an international charity organisation, Global Poverty Project (GPP).
Traditionally a high-profile and prestigious event, this year’s ball will be a truly international event with the presence of 6 A-list Hollywood celebrities, including Owen Wilson of Marley & Me, Meet The Parents, Shanghai Noon, Midnight in Paris & many more, Camilla Belle from 10,000 BC, Lost World: Jurassic Park and the “Face of Gucci” and Academy Award Winner Adrien Brody from the movie The Pianist and King Kong. Guests will get to meet the stars and mingle with the F1 drivers during the cocktail reception.
The star-studded dinner will also include entertainment during dinner by Leona Lewis and Malaysian AIDS Foundation’s Red Ribbon Celebrity, Dayang Nurfaizah.
We invite you to come to an evening that promises to be unforgettable and at the same time support us at the MAF and the Global Poverty Project through the purchase of one or more tables. Tables of 10 pax are priced at RM200,000, RM100,000, RM50,000 and RM35,000. Purchase of the RM200,000 and RM100,000 tables will entitle you to a private meet and greet session with the celebrities. For the RM200,000 table buyers, you will also enjoy the company of a celebrity and their partner seated at your table.
We also welcome purchase of seats priced at RM3,500 and RM5,000 per pax. The purchase of tables and seats will be tax exempted.
